About Thomas H. Begay & Nonabah Begay

Thomas and Nonobah Begay are Navajo Indians, from Gallup, New Mexico. Thomas was one of the legendary Navajo Code Talkers of World War II. By relaying top secret military messages in their Navajo language, the Code Talkers prevented enemy troops from ever deciphering transmissions.
