This book is an introduction to the natural history of tea: its types and origins; how it is grown and harvested; methods of preparation for drinking; its medicinal benefits; and its importance as a revenue source for the Crown of England. A smaller section of the book touches upon the benefits of sage water, and the best foods for certain constitutions.
